  • Greetings of Peace to each and all

    • July 20 2021

Very respected Parents/ Guardians; all the Sisters, Teachers, Staff and especially our beloved Students,

Greetings of Peace to each and all.

While winding up our Academic Year 2020-2021, once again I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all of you.  At the same time thanking Almighty God for everything we received, unconditionally.  By everything I mean everything that all of us have received from our caring God, our life, wellness, safety, etc., according to our needs.  Though we struggled during these months, almost all of us had managed to sort out our issues, so far.

Beloved students, you have secured for yourselves remarkable grades in almost all the subjects, I see.  By now you have been able to overcome difficulties you were facing during those beginning days from March 2020. From 4th April 2020 though we were able to impart lessons through virtual means, yet many of our teachers, Sisters as well as Parents were not that adept with the system, then. Nevertheless, with the help of some Parents and through some of our past pupils' support, our administrative office had managed to establish a stronger infrastructure from June 2020 onwards. Within such a short time we were able to train all our teachers and staff to handle online classes satisfactorily. From 17th August 2020 we were able to hold even live assemblies, three days a week.  Teachers were able to implement their daily/weekly/monthly plans through school office.  The IT Technicians and Engineers had updated all our students' individual files within May-June 2020.   Consequently, our stronger data base have already been established to handle inter-departmental correspondences consistently. I must say that the COVID 19 pandemic time became a blessing in disguise!  We would never ever have tried the digital communications in educational system had there been no such challenges brought in by Corona Virus!  We teachers,  you parents/ guardians  as well as students cannot deny that some way or the other we all felt confused, discouraged, hopeless because of the unpredictable demands of this time.

Thanks be to God that most of you have been very supportive all through. Take care and stay always very blessed. The school will reopen on Tuesday, 17th August 2021.

Wishing you the blessings of the Eid Al Adha. Let us pray for one another to overcome this trying time.

    With blessings,

    Sr. Virginia Asha Gomes, RNDM
